It started with a wedding
When we were planning our own wedding, we hit a problem that every couple knows — how do you actually get everyone's photos? We looked at what was out there and nothing quite fit. Some apps wanted every guest to download something. Others were clunky, overpriced or just didn't work on half the phones at the table.
So we built our own solution. A simple QR code that guests scan to upload photos straight to a shared gallery. No app. No sign-up. It just worked — and our guests loved it.
After the wedding, friends and family started asking if they could use it for their events. Birthday parties, christenings, corporate dos. That's when we realised this was bigger than just our wedding. We tidied it up, launched QRPix, and started listening.
Shaped by customers
Almost every feature we've added came from real feedback. A customer asked for a live gallery on a big screen at their reception — we built it. Someone wanted AI to group photos by face — we built that too. Photo booth, challenges, highlight reels, event pages, RSVPs, email & SMS invites — all of it came from people telling us what they needed.
A long way from day one
QRPix started as a basic gallery with a QR code.
